MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A young chef from Memphis cooked up a winning combination, taking home the top prize on a national television show Tuesday night. Friends, family, and supporters joined 11-year-old Logan Guleff at a party in Midtown Tuesday evening to watch the competition’s final episode. It all came down to Logan and 12-year-old Samuel Stromberg, but Logan took the top prize: a trophy, $100,000, and title of MasterChef Junior. Logan has won several food competitions before, one of which took him to the White House to meet President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
