MEMPHIS, TENN. — A son is behind bars after allegedly stabbing his father to death.

Prosecutors charged Edward Bentley Jr., 19, with aggravated assault.

The victim was his father, Edward Bentley Sr., 70.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning. Police found the victim lying on the living room floor in the 2700 block of Treasure Island East.

Another victim at the scene, Mary Pace, told police Bentley Jr. stabbed his father during an argument between the two. Pace was stabbed as well in the fight.
